Either she did not get pregnant or she is one of those queens who get into heat even while pregnant… yes, there are such.

Whichever is the case, I can not sleep. Mrauuuuu. I recorded a part of her call. Unfortunately my equipment is not so good (K810i, a Sony Ericsson mobile phone), but you can get an idea how it feels…

Yes, like that, non stop.

Some time ago we decided that it was time for our Jossan to become a mom.

We searched a lot in order to find a suitable candidate for her first date, and it was not easy.

There were a few really handsome guys we considered, but at the end we were completely charmed by Flipp; CH Concinnus Crown of Creation, JW, OSH n (a black Oriental). Flipp’s owner is Jill Back,  La Bell, and he is bred by Iann & KG Tinbäck, S* Concinnus.

He has a nice temper, good profile, long and slim body and is simply gorgeous. His eyes are somewhat greener than on this photo.

We did not get much sleep for two nights when Jossan got in heat, since Jossan got her vocal abilities from Leroy, meaning than when she yells, the windows break and the furniture is falling apart… sort of.  And cats sing (some may say “yell like lunatics”) a lot when they are in heat and in love with the whole world…

Jossan got into heat on Monday, and we took her to Flipp on Wednesday. At first she thought he was scary and hid under the bed, but after almost a day she decided Mr. Black was acceptable as a friend, maybe something more (we don’t know).

So, we keep our fingers crossed now…

We got Jossan from Jill today, since the mating is presumably done, but Jossan is still in heat, meaning that we will not be getting much sleep today and probably not tomorrow night either…
